I was very excited to see this comment from CRAIG, ID’ing the cover model from the Job Site movie as Drake Woods from Head Trips (1984). SO excited, in fact, that I spent a good amount of time putting together a post with video, images, VHS box cover art, and links, only to discover that – I POSTED THE CLIP BEFORE – and not that long ago in this 2021 post – Head Waiter.

But we’re here – so watch the clip here, or there, but read the post there it’s got some decent additional info – but but but – after Craig points out Drake Woods (replying to our JohnnyLlama) is the cover model – I take a re-look – hot guy, right? How cum I don’t recall him in Head Trips and what else has he done? Nothing! Nothing else that I can find, at least! He’s credited with 3 videos on GEVI, and it’s the same scene, Restaurant, from Al Parker’s Head Trips. Pics? well, the cover art is probably his best pics – sure he looks good below, in action, but no real straight on pics. Of course Tico looks great, and I may well have focused my camera mostly on Tico as well if I were the photographer (well, if i got any work done, that is) so here we are. Actually, the 3 men, all lightly hairy, each with one or more tattoos, and they get quite sweaty… I think I’ll take a little “alone time” break now.

Bad Bad Boys (intro)

I cannot remember why I wanted to post the intro to Tom DeSimone 1979 film, Bad, Bad Boys, but irregardless, here it is. And with all the love sent to Arthur J. Bressan, Jr. with TWO of his films getting restored and shown on the big screen this month, let’s not forget Tom – much more prolific, some amazing stars have worked with him, let’s hope some of his work gets the star treatment it deserves as well.

as mentioned earlier this week, another Arthur J. Bressan, Jr.’s film has been restored and is getting an NYC screening!

WOW WOW WOW!!! I’m very excited about this, one of my favorite films – but, alas, I left the city 7 years ago! (road trip???) But YOU SHOULD DROP EVERYTHING AND GO! Seeing this on the big screen again would be awesome. There is, alas (do people actually say “alas”?), 1 likely downside. Sigh. Yes, “it ain’t the old days” and that means it’s gonna have no man2man action off screen or behind the screen or in the audience or down in the basement or… still, I’d go if I could. A few clips to entice you – out of order, but I love this first clip below that is 10 of the last 14 minutes of the film.

Hot Lather

John Best (AKA Jack Hacker) and Roger Olson in the short film Hot Lather – (1979). OMG John Hacker has THE LOOK I associated with NYC (and desired) before I moved there!

Photos are from the J & H Productions magazine The Movie Guide, which also features good quality photography in a “guide” format to show you several of their 8MM film titles, like Dark Intruder, 13-Inch Pipeline, Rooftop Rape, as well as The Men In the Warehouse, and a few other titles. The clip above is the one I stumbled upon the other day, had never seen it, so downloaded it for posting. It seemed a bit abrupt at the beginning, and a little research showed it is include in the horrible collection series – Gay Erotica from the Past – specifically in this case, Volume 9. I say horrible because often the footage is not only in poor shape, but they add these “ye olde” soundtracks (turn down the volume for both versions!) and other effects like sepia-tone, the illusion that the 8mm film rolled off the projector, etc. Anyhow… still worth seeing these two hot men in action, right?

ugh. so, many years ago, BIJOU VIDEO sent me an unsolicited copy of Bulging Jockstraps, which was incredibly nice, but did I even mention the video, or gosh, review it on my blog? Nope! And ugh! I sold it back in 2008, and all I have left is a press release! I think I remember Jeff’s role was just a solo j.o., and those don’t usually do much for me. And just look at the box cover! Besides his weirdly “blued” eyes – most of the men are NOT wearing jockstraps? WTF??

These above are from Surge Studios, and you’d think they’d be from his 3-way truckstop shower room scene with Scott O’Hara and Franco Gonella. But look at the backdrop – doesn’t it look more like the 1st scene (warehouse) from the movie with Steve Taylor, Jason Steele and Jesse Adams?? Wonder what the story is there – Was Jeff supposed to be in that first scene? Is there unreleased footage somewhere? inquiring minds….
