Oh gods! I met the first man I had sex with at Esalen in Big Sur in 1979 while I was in the Army at the Defense Language Institute. My training officer–Major Alex–recommended that I go to Esalen to discover more about myself. I also had a huge crush on him! That was a truly magical place and time.

Has the original Sur ever been released? Maybe it just ran in select porn theatres around 1974/75 when it was made and never even got transferred to videotape. It seems like it would be interesting, in part because of Clay and being directed by DeSimone, but also the rest of what happens. Which gevi describes in more detail:
