I’m hoping to take advantage of the cold months and more time indoors, and do some improvements to the site beyond the blog – insights, encouragements, comments appreciated!

I first discovered a version of your blog over 15 years ago I’m sure, you’ve devoted quite a bit of your online presence to this endeavor and provided a lot of information about what is now considered vintage gay porn to readers all over the world. Plus many wonderful sexy pics and some clips as well, and this dates back to an era when sharing video clips (porn and otherwise) wasn’t nearly as common or easy as it has become. That’s your encouragement :)
I can imagine some improvements you could make to the blog, particularly being able to link to and access the trove of info that you have left here and the other blog(s) that predate this version. As well as fixing some of the broken links. Like, have you considered adding tags to your posts, to make searching for that one specific stud somebody is obsessing over a bit more streamlined? Not sure if you have the ability to backdate things like that, if so perhaps you could start with somebody easy and common like Al or Jack and tag any posts with them in them, etc. Even the way it is you’ve done a lot to solve some unknowns in people’s porn collections, and for that the internet thanks you. zephyr – thanks for the input – if I could only fix the comment “nesting” it would really make me happy! that said, while i like the suggestion of the “tags” – it would be a pain in the ass to go over 2200 posts (and that only includes the wordpress version!) – i do have search enabled, so searching for “al Parker” would get you mostly what you want (although it would give you everything that mentions him, like cast listing that might make it too much – try it and let me know what you think) i already have “categories” which is pretty much the same as “tags” but I tried to keep it to a small number – but I am happy to add some suggested categories.
Right, the process of adding tags would be very time-consuming. And I have used your search function before in the past and agree that it works well. I was thinking in terms of being able to link back to your previous blog, don’t remember who hosted that but the number of links that you could update if you were able to combine them somehow, without spending years typing and retyping everything. It’s a challenge but you’re already doing a lot of things right, so I look forward to seeing how you manage with it all, good luck.
