Awesome profile! I know you’ve posted about Mike Morris before, but I’m surprised this is your first full profile. Never mind though, it’s a mouthful!

I can’t decide which photo I like most- I really like that first one because he just looks like a rugged, real man. And is that a cigarette in his pocket? I never noticed that before. You have a way of showcasing photos (by cropping them I guess) so that it’s like they’re familiar but also new somehow. Nice.

I like the 3rd pic in front of the tires of course. It’s just a great look at his amazing body. I also like that there are numerous photos where he is leaning in and we can seeing his balding head. Like the mag covers Desert Fox and In Heat. I like that he has not tried to hide that. It’s just part of who he is, and it works for him. And then on Drummer, there he is just heating up the page, cruising you from the door. Well, he’s cruising somebody. He’s not really looking into the camera. Anyway…

Now I’ll watch the clips which I am sure will be steamy to say the least. Saying the least? Not a concept I am familiar with it seems.

Thanks BJ!

Oh, I have info about “MEN MAGAZINE PRESENTS: COLT STUDIO.”

Assuming there is only one edition, my notes show the publication date as “Winter 2004.” It’s not a series right? Just a one-time special issue?

Jeez, if my 16 year old self had gotten his hands on this, my head would have exploded. My parents wouldn’t have seen me for like two weeks. I would’ve died of dehydration. A happy death.

Mike is on page 91. Only one page I think! Sandwiched between some other hairy fuckers: Moose and Wade Neff. Woof!

Brings back memories of me in 1975, a brash young Naval officer right out of the academy and my first was on a camping trip in California thanks for the great memories that are still alive in me

That issue of COLT MEN is on the list of stuff I grab if fire or flood is threatening my life. If I had discovered it when it was new, or even new-ish: (a) it would be unreadable now; and (b) I’d have dropped out of college way before I did.
