did he really first appear in Honcho in 1978, but not in COLT’s own publications til COLT MEN 18 (1987), and BEST OF COLT 7 (1995)?

I love a man named Gunther, but I really have a thing for this guy. B&W or color, I’ll take him either way.
I think his first appearance for Honcho was in an ad (maybe for “next issue”) in the Aug 1978 Honcho issue with Mike Davis and then their photospread (along with others) was seen in the Sept 1978 issue. The photos were by Colt, so there were definitely photos taken back then. As for why they didn’t show up again for so long, I guess that’s a mystery. Did Colt release a Gunther Keller photoset, and if so, when did it come out? Maybe I’ll check GEA.
Whatever the case, Gunther was such THE MAN!
