not sure how far he’d get
from a “hot talk tape” ad in 1984. apparently this was a big thing in the mid 80’s, although the only ones I have are a few from Old Reliable. But Joe Gage put some out, and I just discovered that there is at least one with Al Parker! From Al Parker’s Turned On, the original soundtrack “Forbidden Overture”, not sure if it is just music, or the sounds of the men in the film. Then another, which features Al actually talking, where Al is visited by the air conditioning repair man – 40 minute tape! OK fellas, who has it?????

Sounds like a tantalizing collectible! The hunt is on! Added to the list that also includes a Blueboy Roger T-shirt.
Anything Al Parker is great! Please let us know if and when you get it?!

It plays quite well and is (so far, haven’t heard it all yet) slow synth and drumbox music without vocals or pornish huffing and puffing. I can digitize and share it with you as an MP3 if you would like. It’s actually nice.
wow! wow! wow! that would be excellent!
OK, cool. Will do. I’ve heard it all now and it’s 2 tracks: one each side and named on the body of the cassette as “Strictly Forbidden” and “Primal Overture” It might be a few days away. A bit busy with work.
Do you think it could be a Patrick Cowley piece? I’d be interested in your opinion.
i think I know someone else who has this cassette – but I am going out of town, and won’t be able to reach out – he may have some info/insights into who’s music it is, but I don’t think Cowley (mostly because he would have mentioned it – as he was involved in re-releases of Cowley’s music a year or tow back)
Hey, finally got some time and wacked it all up on google drive:

Let me know if you have any difficulties getting this and if you can let me know when you’re done so I can take it down it would be great. Happy new year and thanks for all the work on the blog, Grant.
WOW! yes – downloaded fine – have only listened to first file – but so far, so f@ckin’ good! THANKS!
Oh, so THIS is what you were referring to in the other post? The gevi listing for Turned On says “original music by Forbidden Overture” so it wouldn’t be restricted like the Pete Shelley, Art Of Noise etc songs that Al used in other films. I don’t have Turned On, now I’m wondering what the music sounded like – do you still have either the film or the file linked above?
beard-in-face-or-face-in-ass/ – videoclip on this post has some of the music…. it’s BURNED INTO MY HEAD from roaming around porno theatres!
hahahaha! OK – this is the 3rd or 4th edit for this response – next time I don’t do things before 3rd cup of coffee – yes, I will look for the audio, that I clearly downloaded from the link on this thread!!!!
Thanks for linking to your post with the clip, after watching it I remember seeing the film before, though it’s been a long time. That music is terrific, I can see why the above comment wondered whether or not it was Cowley because it sounds like it was cut from the same cloth as some of the School Daze songs like Seven Sacred Pools or (especially) Primordial Landscape. Hearing it in full, with the sound all cleaned up would be wonderful.
Maybe you can search for the file by sorting by date? Since you would know the day you downloaded it, the same as the day you left your reply I assume and that would be the case even if you eventually renamed it something else.
I’m trying to remember what Rick Faulkner would have done in Turned On, aside from unleashing a huge spray of cum which he did in all the films I see on his gevi page. The two in Dangerous – one through the glory hole over Steve Taylor’s ass, the other onto the inside of the phone booth, both slow-mo and incredible – are as seared into my memory as some of the things you describe from your own experience. Didn’t realize Rick died so early, he was awfully cute even with clothes on (but especially without!).
workign on a post that includes the music files… Rick Faulkner – shown at GEVI as merely in the audience for Steve Scott’s solo performance – however, there are other opportunities for him to be in the film, and not noted – Jockstrap Suck-a-rama (everyone but Al and Sky are masked), or Uniform Studs in Action – probably not, as I think all faces are named, and included in https://www.gayeroticvideoindex.com/L/0/36280.html
