"vintage" porn stars Fox Studios pornoclips

Kime Powell

who you may remember from such films as:

  • Intruders (1984) Fox film 505

oh. one film? awwwwww I guess if you’re only doing one film, do it with Tom Leduc!

(here’s the rambling part) But there’s something about Intruders that’s off – and I don’t mean just the shy-of-13-minute scene with Kime and Tom; bothering with the “space stage” and the outfits, that just get pulled off as each enters the, umm, rocky thing they do it on. Wouldn’t it be cool if they uncovered some unreleased footage (I usually don’t like that for porn, I prefer my guys to be in character and the behind-the-scenes stuff can be a distraction, if not worse) but I’d make an exception for historical purposes. Yes, yes, we don’t need to see Tom trying to have sex with that furunderwear on, but a little more time before he’s completely naked would be awesome. What I don’t like about the 68 minute video is the Keith Dyson stuff – clearly videotaped years after the other scenes, and then interspersed throughout – ugh! (That hair – jeez!) The original films were available in 1984, but the “collection” version has a 1988 date on it, as you’ll see in the short intro clip below. But I’m sure you’ve all seen other FOX film loops, where they have that spacey-theme, and the and “FOX FILM 307” (the shorts seem to be 300 or 400 series, the full collections seem to usually be 500 series) plops up as your feature short is about to begin. Check out Muscle Up collection for example. Just the loops, and the entire loop, with cool (original) title thingees. Why can’t we have that, and if you need to throw Dyson, in, give him a full uncut scene without all this nonsense! Can I get a “Director’s Cut” here?

so, for the Intruders clip below, I’ve edited out the fade out/fade in of Dyson.

Hmmmpf! Previously I claimed he did work for Target (1982 photosets), Fox, and Colt Studios…. – but can find no evidence to back up any work for COLT. An alias, perhaps?

Other than the 1982 photoset that appears in a 1990 issue of Stallion (see below); it’s hard to find pics of Kime – many he’s coupled with (I doubt any of you mind) Tom LeDuc from Intruders – mostly action shots, so nothing clearly highlighting his attributes – muscley ass, legs, nice cock, the usual (if only!)

who you may also remember from such publications as:

  • Target photosets (1982)
  • “Fox Studio’s FOXES” Just Men Vol. 3 No. 2 1985 (1985)
  • Intruders (1988) Fox Studios (214)
  • Stallion Vol. 3 No. 6 Aug. – (1990) – “Leather III” photospread – (from the 1982 photoset)
  • Torso (1996) – Vintage Torso

We are in complete agreement about the version of Intruders that came out in ’88 and has all of the Keith Dyson oiling himself up scenes (clearly shot on videotape) interrupting the rest of the action, beautifully shot on film. It’s jarring to see them side by side so often in that release.

I have to wonder about the info on the gevi page for Intruders:

https://gayeroticvideoindex.com/V/0/16550.html

Released in 1984, ok for sure the shot on film loops would fit that timeframe. But it says “music by Patrick Cowley” which has had me wondering about any previous versions of the video release, and if this is accurate. Cowley died in 1982, gave some of his original unreleased music he had in his personal vault to John Coletti, and that is what was heard in School Daze and Muscle Up (and has since been remastered and put out by Dark Entries, which is brilliant). And then Cowley did an original score for Afternooners, the same year he died. If anyone has versions of the film on VHS or Betamax from between ’84 and ’88 that would be very interesting to compare the music, since what plays on the ’88 Intruders doesn’t sound Cowley-like to me.

This was one of the youtube videos I made last year before my channel was abruptly terminated, probably some links to that which don’t work anymore on the comments here at your blog (sorry again about that). I still have those clips saved on my computer though, I’ve thought about trying to repost them somewhere else but I kept trying to eliminate the nudity and sex from what I was putting on youtube, and if I posted them on a blog or something like that I’d want all the cocks, asses and spurting loads to be seen. Which would mean doing them all over AGAIN and that’s as far as I get before it just seems like too much work. But youtube was giving me warning notices about copyrighted music, and when I did the clip for Intruders it didn’t warn me that anything was claimed as belonging to anyone else.

Love Fox’s graphics, those were always so cool. Also loved Jimmy Metz with and without his mustache, but especially with! The Kime and Tom scene was interesting, they get points for trying to make it somewhat futuristic looking – how many other porn films have someone pulling out a sword, non-metaphorically?

How do we pronounce “Kime” I wonder? Is it like Kim-my or Kyme. Doesn’t really matter I suppose.

I am in total agreement about the Keith Dyson “ramble.” I do think the man is sexy, in most pictures I’ve seen, but I have always hated when scenes are broken up like that. Even if both scenes are hot, it’s distracting to jump back and forth. I’m all for the director’s cut!

Kime Powell is another model who just doesn’t come up a lot, but he’s such a Man. Really a treat for the eyes, although his expressions are sometimes lacking. Those muscles though! Thanks BJ!

Looking at the clip, and I also have Intruders the magazine, there’s not much to indicate this is the future. This brings to mind a cheesy 80s movie starring an almost naked Reb Brown and called, “Yor: The Hunter from the Future.” The theme is more caveman than “future” man. Hey, I enjoy mainstream vintage stuff also! This is a truly bad movie though. I love it!

I don’t know if this link will work, but here goes.

Ooh, more. (Sorry BJ!)

I have a scan of an ad at the end of Target Album No3 which shows Kime Powell (looking great) and a promise, “Coming Up in the Next Issue!” But there was no Target Album No4, was there!? So sad.

Yeah, Kime has the space get-up, but the set is very cave-adjacent-looking.

That’s an early Yor concept pic. In the movie, his hair is longer. He has this blond wig- not much better.

The question is…are they from the future or the past? The future past? The past future?

Keith Dyson = Steve Sanders from Beverly Hills 90210, circa season 2:

Sorry Ian Z., you were always third hottest in my book, behind Luke Perry’s Dylan at #2, and Jason Priestly on top. I was definitely a Brandon fan, there were some random shots where he showed a huge box in his jeans. Eventually Brian Austin Green would have knocked Ian down to #4 on the hot guys ranking (yes, I watched 90210 in the 90s, especially the first few seasons) but in the high school years Brian (David Silver) was too young yet for me to consider.

Keith didn’t literally equal Steve / Ian, that’s just who I associated that hairstyle with. Ian wasn’t anywhere near as muscly as Keith especially in his 90210 days.

And Johnny, I don’t know this but when I see the name Kime I always pronounce it “key-may”.

As in the Japanese word meaning decision, which is used in martial arts:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kime

Like I said I don’t know how Mr. Powell pronounced his porn first name, just an assumption on my part. He might have some Japanese ancestry and chose the name for that reason, or maybe just an interest in martial arts.

um, i dunno

some things, at the time, make sense (you don’t want to know what rockstar posters were on my wall that I got off to in the mid / late 70’s) …. but looking back at Brandon? politely, he’s much hotter in the Sharknado series

I’ll guess it was either Led Zeppelin or Peter Frampton on your wall that had teenage BJ squirting loads all over himself ;) whereas I was more in the Wham! / Duran Duran era, both timewise and as far as my fave music then. I had an awesome Culture Club poster I bought at the mall that hung in my room, the drummer Jon Moss was the sexy one but Boy George was just vaguely gay and cool for a few years then. Actually I bought that poster just before I saw the exact same one in Molly Ringwald’s bedroom in Sixteen Candles, but I digress …

The girl friend (not girlfriend) I used to watch 90210 with and I had it all figured out, I thought Brandon (Jason Priestley) was the hot one, she liked Dylan (Luke Perry) and that way we could watch it together and not argue. Had Steve (Ian Ziering) been as muscly as he wound up by the time he made Sharknado I may have reconsidered him, as it was he was just that blond white guy afro look like Keith Dyson. Meh.

I never could stand 90210, especially that idiot Tori Spelllng. Her mother Candy is even sillier, with her artificical snow in her “old house” before she got an apartment so gigantic and luxe it cost more than all of Cindy McCain’s properties combined. Paris Hilton has more humour of these bimboes, although she’s absurd too, and wants to be taken seriously.

Apologies for this post, I just spent April 15-22 in the psych ward at Mt. Sinai because a UTI (Urinary Tract Infection) made me totally delirious, and they thought it might be something more pathological, but the antibiotics knocked in out in 4 days. I’ve already returned to me wicked ways, was dying to suck 3 Pricks but only got to feel 2 of them. Then yesterday, a wonderfully fat spongy uncut one let me suck him off and gave me his delicious cum. I was totally starved, and my ass is too, but it’s hard to get guys to fuck you after a certain age, although I’m not giving up. Never paid but once. I’m good-looking but getting up there. Still, NYC is the best if you are constantly needy for cock, and I am.

Welcome me back, boys and boys. I’m throwing out a lesbian roommate too, which has cost me a fortune, but she’s violent, and I hired the marshal Monday so this sewer rat will be out soon. It took a long time before I knew she was violent.

I think she came in to my room and destroyed the computer and some precious drawings that my late lover made of me in 2012, and had done some before, but she didn’t leave the evidence around this time.

I’ve been through hell, but that mouth full of Peter yesterday sure helped. (won’t indulge like this again, promise.)

All best to BJ and the rest of you.

Sorry about that, should have put Parisian, although I don’t personally care if people know my name. Will re-fill in the form. I am still extremely tired from then having to go to ER with flu that they didn’t even fucking treat at Mt. Sinai, and almost got pneumonia. The medical establishment is scandalous in that that they actually ignore ailments and illnesses unless they are their specializations. I hate them for this. Otherwise, wonderful care except being caged up like that is the pits.

I am sorry to hear of your recent maladies and glad you are back where you can be more comfortable. Suck a big dick for me, I’m still in reclusive mode and not really comfortable breathing in anything that other people are exhaling if I can avoid it.

I think that people who are close to the ages of the actors on a show like 90210 find it of more interest than those older or younger do – even by the time of Dawson’s Creek or The O.C. I had pretty much checked out of any desire to follow the plots or give a damn about those shows. 90210 and Melrose Place were sort of guilty pleasure fun for me in the days before I spent so much time online, as everyone does now, and when there was still sort of a shared experience factor to what was on network TV. Donna the -character- was all right, especially the high school years as she was kind of awkward, still a virgin, had a learning disability (I think), and served as a counter weight to the Brenda / Kelly dynamic amongst the girls. Andrea was sort of an over-achieving loner and didn’t interact with the other females as much. But Donna kind of had a root-for-the-underdog quality. Tori the -actress- is a different beast, as of course Shannen Doherty was, is and always has been difficult on purpose. But Brenda was a good role for her, and could have been even more interesting had she not flamed out and burned her bridges with the Spellings. Yes they have more money than god and that would warp anyone, and usually does.

Just send 90s-era Jason Priestley my way and let some spiffed up version of 90s-version me have my way with him, as John Hurt so desperately wanted to do in Love & Death On Long Island, an offbeat but very captivating film.

What a sweet and charming reply, zephyr! It meant a lot because I like our little family here, and couldn’t even READ it, much less write anything–9 days without any sensory stimulation is a real test, but then I’m not nearly as tech-savvy as you and BJ are anyway, so I didn’t miss it all that much. What I did not like was basically not having a mental illness but being fucking locked up WITH the psychos. Some of them would walk up and down the halls all night in lieu of banging their heads against the floor. I did have a gorgeous and brilliant (female) doctor with incredible dress sense and all these utterly sweet Caribbean nurses, all of whom gave me their recipes from Jamaica, as well as one pork and tricolor pepper one, with green onions and thyme, fried in olive oil that I made when I got home. They made the “jail feel” slightly bearable, butI thought the truly crazy ones that would start screaming would be contagious. And I have my own problems with insomnia.

By the way, I’ve recently (before the ‘episode’) been reading your posts more carefully and you’ve put Patrick Cowley on the map for me; I hadn’t realized that there were actually some musicians who actually regularly did original composition for the porn flicks, as well as, presumably, made a living from it.

I knew of those shows, at least by title, but you are right that older people couldn’t enjoy them on a superficial level. It’s superficial enough to make a show about “trendy Beverly Hills types” to begin with. But then I wasn’t even that entranced with Sex and the City except for that incredible (or almost incredible) scene where the bf. almost gets one of the guest girls (I think she was a guest appearance) to SUCK HIS ASS. That would have been so hot. I have never known of a woman to suck a Prick’s Ass, and I wouldn’t suck my girlfriend’s either. Just not the same as a hard, voluptuous ASS like that one on the beauty I thought looked like Michael York.

I doubt you need any spiffing up into retro-90s, although I know I have a healthy crop (is that the right word?) that might help if I dyed it a gentle chestnut. I know my ASS is still perfect, because I am a real yogi at some of the care of some of these important things, and a lot of the HUNG MEN I need to fuck me don’t know what they’re missing. For example, I know how to never get hemorrhoids, but it does require no squeamishness at all.

Love, love, love to you and BJ, and Obsessed, and anybody else that comes here. It’s such a sweet place and is quite unique, I would imagine but you Pricks are the ones that go elsewhere.

I have certainly talked about Cowley a lot, before I made the connection to his porn music I only knew of him for his disco and hi-nrg music. Solo he did songs like Menergy, I Wanna Take You Home and Megatron Man, he also worked with Sylvester (Do You Wanna Funk), Paul Parker (Right On Target and Love’s On The Line) and Loverde (Die Hard Lover), and did a long remix of Donna Summer’s I Feel Love that was an underground DJ release for many years. All of which are easily found on youtube.

But his once unreleased music like what’s heard in School Daze, Muscle Up and Afternooners is outstanding, previously only heard in those porn films in poor audio quality, but since remastered and released on CD and vinyl by Dark Entries, and with most if not all the clips online as well. Most of it was experimental music he made and didn’t release himself before he died, but before that he sold it to John Coletti at Fox Studio and John used the songs in his films. One of many, this one really stands out to me, is called Journey Home, a nice long one heard in School Daze:

You’re welcome for the reply, I am glad your recent challenges have resolved themselves and you are back on the mend. Yes, the comments section here is lovely, a great cross-section between the occasional commenters and some of us regulars. Take care.
