I just acquired this magazine, and while it’s condition isn’t perfect (in fact, I suspect some pages are missing), nonetheless I just spent the morning scanning the entire thing. But out of the corner of my eye, I can see the thumbnail for page 34 looks a bit, um, bright. Dammit! So I scan again, and it’s nearly identical… hmmmm, so I finish up, am about to close the scanning app, and notice some funny looking buttons, and next to it a clickable button to “reset” – click, scan again, and now the scans look like the magazine itself, and no I am not re-scanning the whole dang thing!



While the original could use a bit of sharpening, I still want the scanner to reflect what’s there, then if I want, I can make a copy, and diddle, as I sometimes do (cropping, etc)

bonus, a business card was taped to one of the pages! Should I call?

hmmmmm – that’s a quote from….. the eBay html file when I sold it… so, um – probably a review, not mine. I still love the clip, but “sexy and crotch-shaved Jamie Bleu” is just not my type, nor is the crotch-shaving (y’ll surprised, right?).. but this is surprisingly better than I remembered (I sold my copy in 2005, and bought another copy in around 2018, but hadn’t gotten around to watching). where was i? oh, nice slow scene, well-filmed (was it film? quality is too good to be 1986 video, right?) I think it’s pretty good, but too many close-ups at the expense of good mid-range shots – I mean, I want to see MAX’s face/stache AND schlong in the same shot – amIright? – the silhouette-ish feel (blinds background ala scene in Daddy Dearest) is cool, just a tad more lighting on their bodies would’ve been nice.

Steady Hand

Steady Hand – with Bob & Ed – (1977/1981??) – 1977 doesn’t sound right and 1981 is laughable. Based on nothing other than my gut, I’d say closer to 1971-1973, and Falcon (and in this case it’s subdivision MUSTANG) acquired it sometime later and put it out on one of its video collections.

I dig the music quite a bit, but can’t identify any of it; most likely added when it got thrown on the VHS collection Roommates. And can’t find many decent pics of Robert (Bob) Rikas, certainly not from this film, so just added a couple below. Would love better quality than the screen caps above of these dudes doing it on that white couch!
