I first chose to search for what the page looked like in 2006 and got the same ‘this website is closed’ message as the website currently has, but when I went back to 2002 it gave me what I linked above. Some of the links within the page may still work while others are probably dead links, anyway thought you might enjoy seeing what the site looked like and perhaps it might be useful for some of your other curiosities. Palm Drive content is not for the faint of heart, that’s for sure, but even for someone like me who is more used to the traditional porn of the past like William Higgins or Falcon, there’s a wealth of very masculine men and a whole subsection of kinkier and extreme gay porn that’s worth exploring.

You can click around on different dates from the main page on the web archive, the content changes depending on when the little internet bug crawled through the site and captured what it looked like then. Like I said, I started out checking one of the links for 2006 and it didn’t show any content, but the 2002 one I linked above does. No doubt the webpage underwent some changes when new content was added or if they decided to reconfigure what it looked like, the links and subsections and all that. Checking alternate dates of a site’s archive can lead to broken links but if you back up and try again, also information that may have been deleted later, yet fragments of it were captured by that little bug crawler.
Have fun, I’ll say ‘you’re welcome’ to both you and johnny here. So how much does this internship pay, you don’t expect me to keep working for free do you?? Can I get some college credit, or at least a stipend for food and gas? Maybe the remnants of a can of crisco, a broken cockring or a stretched out jockstrap, anything??? :D

Adore the ad, maybe funniest I’ve ever read, things like “talking shit, man…” and “cleans his nails with his buck knife” and/or “INTENSELY GRINDING out J/O POSE -n- PISS !” Whether or not the writer was stoned as shit, this may be the most creative of these I’ve read, I was cracking up the whole time.
I kind of had the opposite reaction from Parisian- I thought the ad was a bit of a turn-on. I mean, of course it’s totally over the top, like waaaaay over the top, so of course it’s humorous. But I have to admire the determination. The intensity. The energy. It’s so descriptive! I’m sold!
And Mike Welder- how frustrating that there is virtually nothing else to be found about this guy. Really too bad.
As Zephyr said, Palm Drive is not for everyone, but there is plenty that is enjoyable and it never failed to fascinate me in the past. You just had to find your line delineating what interested you or not and avoid crossing. Too bad the website is shut down.
Also, do we have any idea of the video release date?? Even a guess?
