Ax Master

I think I get the storyline – 3 guys in a tent in the woods, daddy Don gets up first, heads out to ax some wood, comes back and finds the two other, younger men doing it, “gets mad” and “punishes” then by carrying them off butt first and having a 3-way – did I get that right?

Ax Master (1977), starring Don Talon, (did he really only perform in one other film, Cruising The Castro ?), Jeff Carsen (in his only known film), and a young Don Bishop (who I knew did photos/film for College Station, but didn’t realize it was him in this Falcon production).

and of course, this three-some is featured in Falcon’s 1977 publication The Falcon File No. 3

Hello i’ve just discover that geourgeous blog!
and i don’t know you, but I would like to go camping with Ax to share all men can share together under a tent in the country !!

In the endless gay porn tradition of older man/dad/brother discovering younger man/son/younger brother jerking off/fucking and then joining the action, this one is a good one. For me, it’s mostly because of Don Talon. For some reason I don’t remember, I recall being slightly disappointed by the film. I think I like it more as a magazine than a film. Maybe it’s needs another viewing? Well thank you, BJ!!

You know, I don’t even remember what the younger guys look like. Didn’t make a great impression on me. Eclipsed by Daddy Talon.

That first photo is such a great showcase of some of his best features: bushy ‘stache, furry chest, bulging biceps & rippling forearm. I also love the one of him stretching. Whatta man, whatta a man, whatta mighty good man!

Mercy, I’m beginning to “overdose” on Don Talon. : l

Thank you so much for this vintage clip, BJ honey! Wow, it’s been ages since I’ve seen it completely. Your posts seem to give me an extra incentive, to watch for a second, unbiased view and opinion.

Can’t say my original assessment has changed, all these decades later. Much as I love Don, the other two kids seem too generic. This loop doesn’t really do much for me. I give it a “meh” on the peter meter. Glad I’m aware of it though. : )

Like a number of other porn loops, I “appreciate” it more, than I actually enjoyed it. : )

This seems to be a familiar porn theme; for three-ways, from Falcon Studios. You have two younger dudes; in service to an older, authority figure – two lads and a dad. : )

Johnny-My Pet-Llama already mentioned “Three in a Barn (1977)” with Barry Hoffman; and “Please Knock Before Entering (1977)” with Ken Orsini. I would also add “Lifeguard (1976)” with Gordon Grant; though technically, it was a Brentwood release, before it was sold to Falcon.

One of my favorites was “The Other Side of Aspen 2 (1985)”, with Jeff Turk as the coach figure, to Steve Henson and Eddie Marks – two cute hotties! I thought the sequel was better than the original!

“There’s enough there, for the both of you.” (!) : P

I always feel so indebted and grateful; for the presence of aggressively virile men, in all-male porn! It did wonders for my self image, as a homosexual man. : )

Young viewers; probably don’t realize how bigoted Hollywood was toward gay representation, especially in the 60’s and 70’s. Gay porn really was an escape, from all that depressing negativity.

It’s interesting that Falcon Studios did at one time, feature performers that were rugged and masculine, but not conventionally handsome. : 0

Aside from Talon, you had MEN like Ed Wiley, Holtz, Dave Connors, and the Mystery Falcon Model #1 from “Round Up (1975)”.

https://gayeroticvideoindex.com/performer/65841

Once video came in, most of the Falcon performers were collegiate types. Rugged “character types”, were relegated to the studio’s subdivision brands like Mustang and Massive.

As a self-described “Alpha Hunter” or “Androphile”; I value masculinity, above handsomeness, dick size, or brawn, believe it or not! Those qualities are great too! But I love macho men! : )

Don Talon fits the bill, quite nicely – hardcore butch! You can’t deny he had a killer bod! His high, wide, square forehead looks like it was made out of iron! His back and shoulders, were as wide as a Buick! : )

Here’s a backside picture of him, from a 1979 Mustang Studios publication called “Torso”. He indeed, had quite an excellent example! This was printed from Le Salon. Thank you Buck Naked! Sorry for the long address. (I hope this link works! You can enlarge!)

TO BE CONTINUED:

(OMG, BJ! I’m so sorry, that I set off your spam filter! I didn’t realize that a single link; could do that. From here on out, I’ll be extra careful, not to post links with a long address. You live and learn! Thank you so much for fixing it! Now it’s “I”, who deserves the *SPANKY SPANKY*! LOL! Let me assume the position! Let me use zephyr’s joke, “Thank you sir, may I have another!” LOL!)

CONTINUED:

Too often, I experience the disappointment of a masculine gay porn guy; turning out to be, strictly “trade”. Whenever I discover a new one, I hope he won’t be inhibited – “How far will he go?”

They don’t have to bottom or rim, but I want them to at least, kiss and suck. It’s important to me, though I have enjoyed my share of performers, who were selfish and aloof. : (

Thankfully, Don Talon doesn’t disappoint! He doesn’t show any hesitancy in reciprocating! Let me quote you, my dear BJ, “Hubba – Hubba!” : )

I’m dying to see his obscure, 1978 film from the David Warner Company, called “The Room”. I only hope that it isn’t hardcore S & M – not my cup of tea! : /

This is actually his third homo credit, which no one seems to mention.

Having relatively, recently discovered his great print work, with Paean Studios; I’ve warmed up to him, even more! So many of his print images are fabulous! : )

I know you’ll disagree, but I actually prefer him, without the walrus mustache. His face seems more open and warm – without the loss of machismo! : P

In “Cruisin’ the Castro (1981?)”, and in some of his Paean pictures, he doesn’t look so severe. : )

Anyway, to illustrate this point; I found these five Polaroid photos on the pretentious, French website, “Homodesiribus”. They’re dated 1975, from a company called “Fox”, apparently situated in Van Nuys.

I doubt it’s the same company as Fox Studio, since they didn’t get started until 1978. I suspect these pictures, were his first experience with porn!

I organized these pictures, to suggest a type of continuity. One body photo facing right, then the next one, left. I insist on being structured and proportional. It’s my altar boy, stylized training. : )

(I hope these links work! You can enlarge!)

Wow, in this first modest photo, he actually looks rather cute and charming!

I always think it proper, to save the butt-shot, for last – my personal etiquette. Once again, notice how dark his body is; and his florescent tan-line! : )

Don Talon aka Max, is forever! : )

Ah, BJ! So many great posts! So little time! : (

; )

I’ll do my best, BJ honey! Anything for you! It’s the least I can do! I think this can work, but I’m not guaranteeing. It’s a bit tricky. This also happens when you want to get a direct link, with “Male Models from the Past”. : /

Below, is the link you should put in your search engine. Mind you, this will only open the home page dated “Tuesday, April 26, 2022 (mardi 26 avril 2022)”. Everything’s in French. : /

Keep this blog open, as you use another, new tab, on the top menu bar. Once again, put the “Homodesiribus” link from below, in the search engine.

This time, it should open to a page dated February 2016. Scroll all the way down to where it says “dimanche 14 fevrier 2016 (Sunday February 14, 2016)”. It’s seemingly endless – so pretentious! : (

Here you should find the six Polaroid pictures of Don Talon. For my reply, I only used five. : )

Good luck with this, BJ! Let me know if you’re successful! : )

Happy “Appropriation (i.e. stealing)”! ; )

Don Talon in the Homodesiribus Link:

: D

Had I known you were going to find it yourself I wouldn’t have spent the last 45 minutes (at least) on my essay below. Glad to know you got the direct link too.

So who gets to spanky spanky obsessed first? The line forms behind me, I’m no further back than second. ;)

There are a couple of BPT’s (blogspot pro tips) I can share with you, BJ and anyone reading. This despite the fact that I’ve never had a blogspot account, nor even a blog of my own, just discovered these through trial and error.

A common mistake happens when searching a specific word or name at a blog like homodesiribus, vintage male models of the past, retro studs, brutos eros, anything within the blogspot ecosystem. If you pay attention to the url it will be like obsessed’s link above, “search?updated” and a whole bunch of specific parameters. Yuck, and on a blog like that one it’s an arduous process just to find the thing you’re looking for.

But there’s a way to land directly on the post you want to find, and that is usually to click on the title for the post, then you continue away from the search result page and land directly on the single post that you want. Which is a lot more practical than jumping through a bunch of hoops, or asking someone else to do so if you’re sharing a link.

I’ll use retrostuds as an example, let’s say I’m in the mood to look at dick (always a safe bet) so i find his label called ‘dick’ along the side of the page, which is attached to 78 of his posts. The specific post I want to send someone a link to is called Black And White and he posted this to his blog on 1 December 2019. Now there’s a few ways I can get there, since I know the date I can go through his month/date section on the upper left of his blog and scroll backward through the month of December 2019. Or, since the specific post I want is on the second page of search results for the label ‘dick’, I could instead say ‘click here, scroll down to the sixth post on this page and look at that one’

https://retrostuds.blogspot.com/search/label/DICK?updated-max=2020-06-26T03:49:00-07:00&max-results=20&start=7&by-date=false

But there’s always a way to get to the post itself, and not just a listing of his most recent posts or the ones sorted by a tag or a label. Just like BJ uses, you have to click through once to get to the actual post (this is the only way we can comment here) so using retro studs dick label again, hover over the title of the post and click once, which gives you this shorter and more direct url:

https://retrostuds.blogspot.com/2019/12/black-and-white.html

And as a brief aside, that’s a mouth-watering array of dicks on display in those pics, I’ll take a #1 and a #3 please ;)

The other advantage to linking directly to the post itself and not to a search page is that if you’re tag surfing or scanning through his labels, the blogger may add to it at some point, which would have the effect of bumping back any previous posts, and with all that clutter at the end of the url it might not work the same in the future, or at all. If the post has a title at the top with a link, click that.

Now homodesiribus doesn’t use titles on his blog posts, but there’s still a way to get to the one specific post you want. At the end of a post there are a few little tags (since his blog is in French the first one on the first page that I’m looking at today shows “Publié par Homodesiribus à 19:32” and the time in a hyperlink. Click that little link, and it takes you to just that post. The other way to get there is right next to the time, there’s a link for how many comments have been left, if any. The only difference is for the comment link there’s some extra text at the end, a hashtag plus the words “comment-form” and that will send you to the same page, but slide you down the page directly to where the comment field is. Wikipedia links are the same way with hashtags, if you want to link to a specific section of an article and it’s listed in the little box at the top.

Are you taking notes, cuz this is going to be on the final exam! LOL Always try to link directly to the post itself, click around until you find just that and then you’ve got shorter, neater and more exact links to share that aren’t dependent on the search parameters always being the same as they were when you found it.

One final one, for adult blogs you’ll always get some junk at the end of the url when you have to click ‘yes I agree’ at the landing page and make it to the main blog page. It starts “?zx=” and then there’s a string of numbers and letters. This is the unique identifier google assigns stating that you clicked yes and so they let you in, and it’s different every time and for every different blog. Simply erasing that out of any url you want to share will still lead to the main page of the blog, or any specific posts within it, it’s just unnecessary clutter at the end and whoever clicks your link will have to go through the same adult content landing page to get to it.

You just have to play around with things like that, I’ve made the mistake of linking to search result pages as opposed to the posts I want before, but eventually I noticed the url especially if it seemed unnecessarily long, and taught myself to try and hit the exact post I want whenever possible.

Wonder if I’ve exceeded bj’s length of comment limits, if so I’ll divide it up into two.
