February

I’m sure one of you can look at the font and figure out which publication put this calendar out back in… back in… 1978?

My blind guess would be Colt, especially if this guy who I don’t recognize (but I bet you do) was on the cover:

But I’m more hung up on the following: Al’s beautiful big dick, in a semi-flaccid (for him) state; the fact that they used Al as an example of an Aquarius when if wikipedia is right, he was in fact a Cancer; and using the words “You’re uncomfortable at cruising” when showing a pic of Al, when aside from all his porn work he was well known for driving around in his van and doing it on the side of the road with random guys he picked up, with or without Steve. Artistic license, I can forgive the calendar makers I guess whoever they were.

you are TOO TOO funny! I seriously doubt anyone thought to match the zodiac sign to the model! and zodiac signs don’t match months, so in a calendar, seems odd enough to me – back to the question – I am sure you are incorrect, and I could dig and find out, but for now, I am confident the CLUE regarding the font (but the clue regarding the year may be a guess) shows it’s not this Colt calendar – and that model, I seem to remember that many many are puzzled by this seemingly unknown model who has shown up on that calendar, and little place else!

I was sort of aiming for weird combined with my attempt at humor with my response, glad you don’t always take me seriously (I think some of my attempts at being funny or witty just get lost in translation by most people, anyway…)

Obviously whether it’s a calendar or a magazine spread they aren’t going to limit the models depicted to being of that zodiac sign, certainly not from circa 1978. I just guessed Colt because of the number of times you’ve mentioned the studio and its publications, including calendars.

But if it’s from a magazine, hmmm if there’s a clue there I’m not picking up on it. The best I can do is run down some of the many titles that used to exist: Drummer, Inches, Playguy, Honcho, Mandate, Numbers, Blueboy, Torso … ? Those that I either have assorted copies of myself and/or that I’ve seen never had fonts so distinctive that I could recognize them apart from the rest of the magazine.

I figured if anybody knew the name of the guy who was on the 1978 Colt calendar cover it would have been you, that’s interesting that his identity is apparently unknown, or mostly so. He was pretty hot in that pic, nice bushy stache and chest.

sorry – I forget I look at this stuff all the time, so of course I knew (somewhere) I had the rest of the calendar – but on my harddrive this was just “February_Parker” and I was in a hurry to make a post – so I jusmped back in today, searched hardrive for “calendar” and 497 images later, the thumbnail popped out cuz I knew what I was looking for – the FONT from this

So beautiful.

One of the relatively few shots of Mr. Parker with no cock ring of any type. Even so, the veins on the shaft are jumping out at the camera.

And those balls!

I’m a Capricorn, so I wanna’ see January!

I didn’t recognize the font at all, and I’m supposed to be an artist. I guess I’m not as familiar with In Touch mags from that time as I thought. They did use some colorful fonts, didn’t they? I didn’t even know an In Touch calendar existed.

They should have put Al on the cover. I can never get enough. Terrific post!

In all seriousness, I suppose I should know that the “font” wasn’t much of a hint – unless you are PORNO-CRAZED and look through eBay auctions several times a week for decades and come across the cool looking IN TOUCH Calendar, but all the scans are not scans, but crappy cell phone pics until one day you find AL PARKER –

AL PARKER – well-scanned, cock well-veined…. just, mmmmm!

HAPPY JANUARY BIRTHDAY
