OK, so it’s 3 pics of the same guy with a beard, and then a mustache

Picture #4 is of Colt model Jesse Ditmar and same picture was on the back cover of Colt Men calendar (not certain of year, maybe 2006). Jesse was also photographed for Colt with ridiculously long hippie-hair, but not with a beard. Other three pictures are of someone else, looks likes Tex Murdock, but I don’t think it’s him. Note that the hat in #4 is different than the other three – I suppose he could have owned two hats.
yes, Jesse Ditmar – not a fan of long hair myself, but he can be forgiven!
Could Guy 1-3 be Val Martin? Hard to tell from these pics, but he looks uncut, and he’s got the right attitude.
I don’t think Val Martin did any work for Colt – and the face just doesn’t look as “craggly” as Martin’s. The images are from Colt Studio Presents. Issue No. 11: A Leather Tour de Force – and these are some of the men featured in the 1990 publication – om Lee……… Roy Stagg……… Tex Murdock……… Cole Faulkner……… Dave Lash……… Helmut Kross aka Kurt Graham……… Scott Butcher……… Ron Saba aka Gino aka Bill Ford aka Bill King……… Jim Cassidy……… Mark Alexander……… Glenn Steers aka Rick Sommers……… Ryan Hayward……… Ben Cody aka Dave Gardner……… Tom……… Nick Battle……… Marc Christian.
Well hmm. Val Martin did a lot of work with photographer Jim Wigler–I’m getting this from Jim Wigler’s amazing Tumblr site–and these sorta look like that sorta thing. Just a thought. But no, I can’t nail it down.
what’s the “this” – a link that didn’t get included?
no, sorry–the “this” referred only to the info. I was briefly excited to learn that Jim Wigler worked with Colt Thomas (as well as Val Martin), naively assuming that that he was synonymous with Colt Studio. Nope. Hey, I’m learning, that’s why I follow this site (I only read the text, yknow, never look at the naughty pictures). If you’d like a link to follow: http://jim-wigler.tumblr.com/archive
