I can’t say this movie gets me off, but it’s still very interesting to watch. I think the lead actor in it, Timothy Kent, gives one of the most compelling performances in a porn film. He had a stentorian voice.

The director, Peter de Rome, was quite a character, not to mention, very daring. Did you know he died rather recently? It was on June 21, 2014, just a week before his 90th birthday.

Did you know that Sir John Gielgud, was a good friend of his? (!) I’m always fascinated, how often you find gay mainstream celebrities, rubbing shoulders with people in the gay porn industry.

Evidently, Gielgud wrote a screenplay for de Rome, which was never produced. (!) The title was, “Trouser Bar”. Even though the Sir John Gielgud estate is up in arms about this, the screenplay is tentatively going to be produced by David McGillivray, with Kristen Bjorn directing. (!)
