Not sure where I nabbed the animated gif, but I am fairly certain this is from the film Casey , where Ken Donovan got his “stage name,” and where Casey has a 2nd role in the film, as Wanda Uptight (pictured on the right)! In fact, if memory serves me right, I think it is Casey’s alter ego Wanda who is getting flipped off here.

I searched your blog but couldn’t find a post devoted to The Back Row, though I did find some where you either mentioned the name of the film or one of the stars, Casey or George Payne. The sex scenes range from OK to pretty good, but the highlights for me are: the shots filmed outside when Casey and George were walking around NYC, Times Square and Wash. Square Park and on the subways, etc.; and then the original music, which was credited to a William R. Cox. I found a few clips of the music on youtube including one that has the four “songs” (meaning the music with lyrics) along with a slide show of some screencaps from the film, link here:

Both Casey and (especially) George were very hot when the movie was shot, 1972 I would guess though it wasn’t released until the next year.

Ah, thanks for the links to the previous versions of your blog. I was honestly surprised when I couldn’t find a post you had done about it, considering how notable the film is and how many times you have mentioned both George and Casey before. I do remember your blog of yore, that was when I started following you, mostly for the great pics and clips of vintage porn. But now that you’ve linked to that page I also remember your descriptions of going out and cruising the bars, etc. (and of course Bjork!). And re: bandwidth was a lot harder to come by pre-youtube and all the porn sites that require the faster speeds we have today.
Yes I made that clip and uploaded it to yt, it was kind of a fun project I worked on last weekend — download the video, convert the audio to an mp3, edit it down to just the “songs” I wanted to highlight, take a bunch of screencaps and throw them in a blender, or the movie maker program I use. I thought it came out OK, and I was hoping you might dig it too. And those songs are so catchy, I agree with you … the first one sounds like the love child of Everybody’s Talkin’ and a Johnny Cash song like Ring Of Fire maybe?; “little boy, little boy” is just excellent; the third, romantic song (I guess If I Could might have been a title if it had one) is sweet but not too sappy. And song 4 is very odd, especially when he starts scream-singing the “in a very little while! you will have to go away!” part. I wonder who William was, he’s not a bad singer but aside from this credit I didn’t find anything else about him. Somebody else had posted the first song to yt but as I didn’t see the rest I wanted to put them up there.
