I know I’ve posted this at least twice before, it’s from a compilation video called Gay Erotica From the Past 8, which is a series of videos showing gay porno clips from the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s. For years I’ve been trying to figure out the source – which particular film this was excerpted from, but alas I haven’t been able to figure it out. While it’s not unusual for a porno to just seemingly randomly add some pop music to the soundtrack, when you see the end of this clip, you’ll see they definitely planned to use this tune for the soundtrack. In fact, Gay Erotica From the Past 8 contains several scenes from this film, and most of the scenes use Lou Reed’s Transformer as the soundtrack. I am assuming you know that Little Joe is Joe Dallesandro. That is probably him screwing here. Perhaps Heat, Trash, or Flesh the movies he did for Andy Warhol. I haven’t seen any of these so I don’t know.

That clip is great, no idea what it’s originally from or who the guys are though. The one bearded guy looked familiar to me but that’s not much help. The dolls during the doo-doo-doo part of that song does look intentional for that scene though, and not just a random use of music as so many vintage films and loops had.
If I were a porn director I would emphasize to the performers in my scenes that once somebody cums, do NOT immediately wipe it away! Most of the audience wants to see it dripping out of the dick that just fired it or down the shaft, and where it landed, but the tendency some guys have to clean up right away deprives the rest of us of that enjoyment. Now if somebody wants to lick it up (either before the safe sex era or now) that’s all right, just don’t hoover it all into your mouth but lap at it gently. A minor pet peeve I have when watching porn clips.

I have more from the film, currently on Gay Erotica from the Past 8 but I initially found this clip on one of the many New York’s Most Wanted VHS tapes I was selling on eBay – I obsessively tried to ID each scene on these poor quality compilation tapes – mostly GAGE and PM Production stuff – 70’s/80’s. I am fairly certain the original film has one of the character’s drop the needle on the Transformer album and probably the entire side plays as they get it on.

Just teasing of course, I guess I may have to peruse your version 1.0 blog some night and see if I can find an example. But it does sound like the kinds of offhand comments you used to make regularly before your style of writing evolved and your focus became more streamlined on the porn mags and clips. Whale watching, Bjork, ebay auctions (and not just for porn), music of course, riding your bike to the bars in NY and things like that all used to make occasional appearances. As well as some of your hookups and attempts at online connections with guys, those were always amusing.
As to the clip you posted here (and just replaced), some of the other scenes from that compilation derive from a Jaguar film, The Roundabouts. So that movie, or another made by Jaguar (or even distributed by them or Star Films) might lead to the answer. I clicked on a few random titles but unless one of the two bearded guys was maybe Jeff Colt I got nuthin’.

I checked my master list of music in porn to see if I had noted any Lou Reed songs but I came up empty, thought that might have been a clue. It’s the first bearded guy seen with the pretty eyes and the necklace at the very beginning (who gets the load shot onto and wiped off of his back) who looked the most familiar to me, maybe someday this mystery will be solved. Thanks for the improved clip either way.
