YUM. I wish I had a better version of this picture – only one I’ve seen of Mr. Steele bearded (we usually see him in a mustache). You may remember him form such videos as Oversize Load and Hard Disk Drive (both from Al Parker, who loved uncut men); Ranch Hand, Chip Off The Old Block and of course Sex My Father Taught Me – more on that one later.

Wasn’t he great? I always thought he deserved to be a bigger star than he was. He was hot, rugged, and kind of endearing. Maybe he wasn’t brooding enough to be in the same league as such dark, mustached, intense stars like Bruno, Kyle Hazard, Roger, Paul Barresi, Ed Dinakos, or Dan Pace. Surge was the most prestigious studio that he ever worked for. Colt or Fox never used him. Maybe if he appeared earlier on the scene, Target would have used him. I’m sure if he appeared today, Raging Stallion would have found a place for him. With his dark, ethnic look, I was surprised to learn he was from England. He had a working class accent (Cockney?).
