George Payne (star of The Back Row (1973) , Kiss Today Goodbye (1976), Four Letters (1980?) Centurians of Rome (1981), and of course, probably my favorite film with him in it – Navy Blue among others).

Yeah, I’m pretty sure it’s him also; the round pecs, the prominent brow, the thick unruly hair. He did some nude modeling before he got into porn films. Jim French photographed him twice, a number of years apart. One for Young Colts #1, and later for Spurs #2. He matured quickly in a few years. His chest got hairier and his facial features got more prominent and rugged. There’s quite a change from “The Back Row” to his later films. He looks great with or without facial hair. “Navy Blue” is definitely one of my two favorite Jack Wrangler films. They both look great together. That Christmas scene with him as a present is so hot, due in a large part by the hungry looks that Jack gives him. (You posted it twice!) The music, Magic Fly by Space, works so perfectly it’s almost like it was originally scored just for the film. It’s the perfect tease to where they do actually get it on with “Bolero” playing in the background. Also scorching! Curiously, they both went into straight porn about the same time. In this picture, he looks positively angelic. In real life, he was anything but!
