Sold this video back in 2006, kinda wish I hadn’t. From Palm Drive Video , director Jack Fritscher (1987) 74 minutes running time – Colt model Dave Gold – 36, 5-11, 187 pounds; works out; poses in various jock gear; chomps on his cigar (naked, erect); shows off his body while talking to the camera; drinks a Bud while whacking it; pulls out a Muscle magazine to enjoy while sniffing his own gear; after climaxing, he briefly relives himself in a bucket. As far as I know, he’s only appeared in this one video. Of course, you know of his modeling for COLT in the early 1980’s, I think a photo spread in Playgirl (different name, right?) – and some photos by Jack Fritscher for Drummer Magazine (issues 117, 204) relating to the Workout video.

Thanks for liking my video of Dave Gold who was great to work with. With his ice-blue eyes, he is my Palm Drive Video’s “Paul Newman.” In 1987, around the time of our filming, I was invited to be on a San Francisco TV chat show featuring people who created erotica. I asked Dave to come along, and we’d do the show together. Live, on camera, he was wonderful. The studio audience liked him. I looked at Dave and I looked at all the expensive cameras and lights, and I thought: “Jeez! My camera’s excellent, but think of what Dave and I could have done with all this.” It seemed a waste to have an entire film studio and not be shooting Dave’s face and his dick and his fur and his cigar and his…. “Dave Gold’s Gym Workout” is a DVD.
how very cool to hear from you! yup, great video, wish I never sold it – you say it is on DVD? cool – where? Any other Palm Drive Videos released on DVD? Sex My Father Taught Me is such a great title, right? And Jason Steele is hot in that. I think I have Chris Burns KaroteKock somewhere around here.
